Job summary

A leading construction company in Dubai is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor with a strong background in the aluminium and glass installation industry. You will supervise all site activities, manage installation crews, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate should have significant experience in a similar role within the UAE and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Supervisor in the aluminium & glass or façade industry in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of aluminum systems, glass types, fixing methods, and façade installation techniques.
• UAE Driving License is an advantage.

Job description

Site Management & Supervision

• Supervise all site activities related to aluminium and glass installation including curtain walls windows doors skylights and cladding.

• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved shop drawings method statements and quality standards.

• Coordinate daily tasks with subcontractors site workers and the internal project team.

Team Leadership

• Manage and direct installation crews foremen and laborers.

• Conduct daily toolbox talks allocate manpower and monitor productivity.

• Ensure all team members follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.

Quality & Safety Assurance

• Monitor quality of work and conduct site inspections.

• Report any non-conformities or quality issues to the Project Engineer.

• Ensure full compliance with HSE requirements and report incidents or unsafe practices.

Reporting & Communication

• Maintain daily site logs and progress records.

• Report site status material requirements and manpower needs to the Project Manager.

• Liaise with contractors consultants and clients when required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering Construction or a related field.

• Minimum 35 years of experience as a Site Supervisor in the aluminium & glass or façade industry in the UAE.

• Strong knowledge of aluminium systems glass types fixing methods and façade installation techniques.

• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and installation details.

• Good leadership communication and problem-solving skills.

• Basic computer knowledge (Excel email) for reporting purposes.

• UAE Driving License is an advantage.
