Job summary

AECOM is seeking a seasoned Material Engineer to supervise and monitor construction materials on infrastructure projects in Dubai, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and code requirements. The role includes inspecting with the PMC & Contractors, managing NCRs, CAPAs, and contributing to method statements and ITPs.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree with 12+ years in quality control, materials testing, and site supervision, including 3+ years UAE experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 12 years’ experience in quality, construction materials, and material testing (8 years in infrastructure; 3 years UAE).

Responsibilities

• Monitor site activities to ensure conformance to project quality plans and documentation.
• Oversee delivery, storage, and on-site use of materials and associated testing.
• Verify compliance with design and contract documents.
• Prepare daily site reports and manage NCR/CAPA processes as needed.
• Coordinate with PMC/Contractor teams and participate in package meetings.
• Audit material tests and maintain comprehensive records of materials and tests.
