Job summary

alfanar electric seeks an experienced on-site Electrical Supervisor to lead a dedicated team across site operations in UAE. You will manage installation, commissioning and maintenance of electrical systems, ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery, and maintain precise documentation for progress reporting.

The role requires a Diploma in Electrical engineering with 6–10 years of relevant experience on site, and a strong focus on health, safety and compliance across projects.

Responsibilities

• Site Supervision: oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure tasks meet specifications and standards.
• Team Coordination: assign tasks, guide and support team members, coordinate with engineers/supervisors.
• Progress Monitoring: track daily progress and report to site engineer or project manager.
• Health and Safety: enforce safety rules and conduct inspections for safe working conditions.
• Documentation and Reporting: maintain daily site records and assist in progress reports.
• HR Proficiency: train subordinates and lead the team with clear delegation and fairness.
• Delivery: execute planned activities to meet targets within time and cost constraints.

Job Purpose

Lead the on-site electrical team, ensuring the efficient and safe installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems. This includes troubleshooting issues, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards throughout the project.

Key Accountability Areas

Site Supervision

• Oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure tasks are performed according to specifications and standards.
• Monitor the quality of work and adherence to safety and operational guidelines.
• Ensure proper use of tools, materials, and equipment at the site.

Team Coordination

• Assign tasks to site workers and monitor their performance.
• Guide and support team members to achieve daily objectives.
• Coordinate with engineers and supervisors to address operational issues.

Progress Monitoring

• Track daily progress and report updates to the site engineer or project manager.
• Identify potential delays or challenges and recommend solutions.
• Ensure timely availability of required materials and resources.

Health and Safety

• Enforce compliance with workplace safety rules and regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure safe working conditions and proper housekeeping.

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, work logs, and incidents.
• Assist in preparing progress reports and submitting updates to supervisors.
