Job summary

Management Solutions International MSI is seeking a Site Engineer-Steel Structure in Dubai/Sharjah to oversee the steel erection on site. You will supervise labour and subcontractors, ensure compliance with drawings and specifications, and manage material planning and safety on site.

The role requires at least 2 years of GCC experience in steel structure erection and current base in Dubai/Sharjah, with strong coordination and reporting duties as part of the project team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years GCC experience in steel structure erection.
• Based in Dubai/Sharjah.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day site management, supervision of labour and subcontractors.
• Ensure materials and works meet specifications.
• Oversee material selection and requisition.
• Interpret design drawings supplied by client.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, QS.
• Plan work and organise site facilities to meet deadlines.
• Oversee quality control and health & safety on site.
• Prepare reports as required.
• Check materials and work in progress for compliance.
• Observe safety requirements on site.
• Quality control per approved method statements and plans.
• Provide data on variations and site instructions.
• Prepare record drawings and technical reports.

Job Title: Site Engineer-Steel Structure

Department: Engineering

Location: Dubai/Sharjah

Key Responsibilites

• .Day-to-day management of the site including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors.

• .Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.

• .Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials.

• .Monitoring and interpreting the design and drawings supplied by the client.

• .Liaising with any consultants subcontractors supervisors quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.

• .Planning the work and efficiently organizing the site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.

• .Responsible forOverseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site.

• .Preparing reports as required.

• .Checking materials and work in progress for compliance with the specified requirements.

• .Observance of safety requirements.

• .Quality control in accordance with approved method statements quality plans and inspection and test plans all prepared by the project management team and by subcontractors.

• .Providing data in respect of variation orders and site instructions.

• .Preparing record drawings technical reports site diary

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of GCC experience in Steel structure Erection and managing industrial or residential projects.
• Should be currrently based in Dubai/Sharjah
