Job Purpose

To oversee and manage the installation of HDPE corrugated pipes at project sites, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and project schedules. The role requires hands‑on supervision, coordination with site teams, and technical problem‑solving to deliver high‑quality installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the site execution of HDPE corrugated pipe installation works as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Ensure proper handling, alignment, jointing, and testing of HDPE pipes.
• Coordinate with the project team, subcontractors, and suppliers for timely delivery and installation.
• Monitor site progress, manpower, and resources to meet project timelines.
• Conduct quality checks on installation, backfilling, and compaction.
• Prepare and maintain site reports, daily progress logs, and quality documentation.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during pipe installation.
• Report any deviations, delays, or non‑conformities to the Project Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years’ site experience in HDPE corrugated pipe installation (stormwater, sewerage, or related infrastructure projects).
• Knowledge of pipe‑laying methods, jointing techniques, trench safety, and testing procedures.
• Familiar with construction standards, drawings, and specifications related to piping works.
• Strong knowledge of HSE practices in construction sites.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic AutoCAD (preferred).
• Good communication and leadership skills.
