Job description

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Site Engineer – AC, PL & EL to oversee the day-to-day site execution of MEP works, including air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical installations. The Site Engineer will ensure that all installations are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards, coordinating with contractors and other teams on-site.

1. Site Execution

• Supervise and manage MEP (AC, plumbing, and electrical) works on-site.
• Ensure work is executed according to approved shop drawings, method statements, and specifications.
• Monitor installation activities for:
  • AC systems (ducting, piping, units, insulation)
  • Plumbing systems (water supply, drainage, sanitary)
  • Electrical systems (wiring, lighting, conduit, DBs)
• Coordinate with civil and other teams to avoid clashes and delays.

2. Technical Support & Quality Control

• Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to technical standards.
• Assist in testing and commissioning activities for MEP systems.
• Identify and report site issues or design conflicts, suggesting practical solutions.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks in line with project QA/QC plans.

3. Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with subcontractors, supervisors, and labor teams for timely execution.
• Liaise with project engineers for work updates, changes, and approvals.
• Attend site meetings and communicate work progress or challenges.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily site reports, work progress logs, and inspection records.
• Prepare and submit inspection requests (IRs) and material delivery notes.
• Track material usage and update stock or shortage reports to procurement teams.

5. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

• Enforce safety rules and ensure all activities comply with HSE policies.
• Conduct site toolbox talks and assist in incident reporting if needed.
