Job summary

Job description

We are seeking a proactive and technically strong Site Engineer – Civil to oversee the execution of civil works on-site. The ideal candidate will ensure the implementation of construction activities as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards while coordinating closely with site teams and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute civil structural and finishing work as per the approved drawing.
  • Monitor site operations, determine work progress, and obtain required approvals from QA/QC/consultant/client.
  • Track job progress, schedules, budgets, and staffing; control all quality, cost, and time functions in construction activities.
  • Plan, monitor, and control resources; raise purchase orders for materials and equipment.
  • Assign and supervise tasks to the team, ensuring completion on schedule.
  • Manage and supervise day‑to‑day construction activities at the site, including scheduling subcontractors and overseeing material deliveries.
  • Prepare monthly/weekly progress reports and cost analysis reports, including material quantities, labor hours, and equipment inventories.
  • Check contractor invoices and reconcile material quantities.
  • Report and revise project plans when necessary to adjust for site conditions.
  • Maintain accurate site documentation with photographs.
  • Ensure good working conditions with quality and safety compliance.
  • Follow HIRADC and maintain 100% safety by coordinating with HSE departments and conducting toolbox meetings.
  • Identify and mitigate potential hazards and secure necessary permits.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 3–5 years of UAE experience in site execution of high‑rise, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of civil construction activities and technical drawings.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project tracking tools.
  • Familiarity with local regulations, DEWA, DDA/DM processes, and consultant coordination.
  • Excellent communication, team coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
