Job summary

Emagine is seeking a Site Engineer to join the Home Services and Projects team in the UAE. The role covers EV charger site surveys, residential installations, and coordinating with project teams and authorities.

The engineer will work across villas, residential buildings, and commercial sites, and may support multiple project sites and installation teams as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience as Site Engineer / Electrical Engineer in the UAE is required.
• Experience with EV charger installations and DEWA approvals is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys for EV charger installations at villas, buildings, and sites.
• Coordinate with customers, technicians and internal teams to ensure timely completion.
• Prepare site survey reports and provide technical recommendations.
• Ensure installations follow safety standards and authority requirements.

Job description

EMAGINE is looking for a Site Engineer to join our Home Services and Projects team The role will be responsible for handling EV charger site surveys residential installations building projects and technical coordination The engineer should be comfortable working across villas residential buildings commercial sites and project installations The position may also require supporting different project sites and installation teams based on business requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys for EV charger installations at villas buildings commercial properties and project sites
• Assess electrical requirements cable routes DB capacity installation locations and site conditions
• Prepare site survey reports and provide technical recommendations
• Supervise and coordinate EV charger installations and ensure work is completed according to required standards
• Handle residential home installations and coordinate with customers technicians and internal teams
• Support larger-scale project installations when required
• Coordinate with consultants contractors facility management teams and customers on site requirements
• Prepare and follow up on electrical drawings load requirements and technical documentation
• Coordinate DEWA and TAQA approvals and ensure required documentation is submitted correctly
• Follow up on authority comments inspections and approvals until completion
• Troubleshoot technical issues during installations and coordinate with the technical team when required
• Ensure installations are completed safely and according to company and authority requirements
• Monitor site progress quality and installation timelinesPrepare site reports photos checklists and completion documentation
• Support the Operations and Projects teams with technical requirements and site coordination

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Previous experience as a Site Engineer / Electrical Engineer in the UAE.
• Experience in EV charger installations is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with DEWA approvals is required.
• Experience with TAQA/Abu Dhabi authority approvals is required.
• Strong understanding of electrical installations, load requirements, cable sizing, DBs, protection devices, and electrical safety.
• Experience conducting electrical site surveys.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.
• Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
• Willingness to travel across the UAE for site visits and projects.
• Good English communication skills.
• Arabic speaking is a plus.
