Job summary
Ghobash Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer to assist in preparing drawings and documentation, support BOM creation, and maintain design records for ADNOC oil and gas projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves site coordination and adherence to safety standards.
Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of experience, basic AutoCAD/ETAP skills, and familiarity with IEC/IEEE codes. On-site work across Abu Dhabi project sites with potential shift hours may apply.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 1–3 years in electrical engineering; oil and gas exposure preferred.
- Familiarity with ADNOC standards and safety regulations.
- Basic proficiency with electrical design software (AutoCAD, ETAP).
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing electrical drawings schematics and technical documentation.
- Support BOM creation and material accuracy per project.
- Update records of electrical designs and modifications.
- Assist senior engineers in overseeing installation and commissioning.
- Conduct routine inspections for safety and compliance.
- Troubleshoot basic electrical issues under guidance.
- Coordinate with contractors and team for smooth execution.
- Attend site meetings and report progress to Senior Electrical Engineer.
- Work on-site at ADNOC project locations in Abu Dhabi.
- Adhere to ADNOC safety and quality standards.
