Job summary

IRISSTAR Technologies in Dubai is seeking a senior Microsoft 365 security engineer to lead SharePoint Online security for the enterprise, aligning governance, risk, and compliance with Zero Trust principles.

The role focuses on permissions management, external sharing controls, and threat remediation, while collaborating with Cyber Security, Infrastructure, and Compliance teams to maintain secure collaboration across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Cybersecurity or related field.
• 5+ years of Microsoft 365 administration and security, incl. 3+ years on SharePoint Online & OneDrive security.
• Hands-on with SharePoint permissions, governance, oversharing remediation, lifecycle management.
• Strong knowledge of Purview, Defender, Entra ID, and Zero Trust architecture.
• Experience supporting large enterprise environments (10,000+ users).
• ITIL knowledge (Incident, Change, and Service Management).

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience with SharePoint permissions, governance, oversharing remediation, and site lifecycle management
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Entra ID, and Zero Trust architecture
• Experience supporting large enterprise environments (10,000+ users)
• ITIL knowledge (Incident, Change, and Service Management)

• Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert
• Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert
• SC-400 – Information Protection & Compliance Administrator
