Job summary

The American University in the Emirates (AUE) is seeking a dedicated Service Personnel to support departmental operations with general service, visitor handling, and housekeeping across the university campus.

The role requires 1-3 years’ relevant experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to work flexible hours and shifts. This on-site position offers a supportive environment and opportunities to contribute to a welcoming campus experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain campus facilities, offices and corridors in a clean, orderly condition.
• Empty waste bins, recyclables, and other waste materials as scheduled.
• Dust and clean light fixtures, ceilings and high areas with safe procedures.
• Clean and polish office furniture and equipment.
• Assist with moving furniture and equipment for cleaning, events and relocations.
• Monitor supplies and equipment and report shortages or malfunctions.
• Ensure pantries are stocked and maintained.
• Arrange refreshments and related supplies for events.
• Report maintenance issues observed during duties.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

American University in the Emirates (AUE) is seeking a dedicated and reliable Service Personnel to support departmental operations by providing general service assistance, attending to visitors and staff, and performing a variety of housekeeping and clerical support duties. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment across the University campus.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: AED 2,500 per month
• Additional benefits as per University policy

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that campus facilities, offices, and corridors are maintained in a clean and orderly condition at all times.
• Empty waste bins, recyclables, and other waste materials in accordance with the maintenance schedule.
• Dust and clean light fixtures, ceilings, and other high areas using appropriate equipment and safety procedures.
• Clean and polish office furniture and equipment.
• Assist with moving furniture and equipment for periodic cleaning, events, and office relocations.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment and report shortages, malfunctions, or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Ensure pantries are adequately stocked and maintained.
• Arrange refreshments and related supplies for University events and activities.
• Report building maintenance issues observed during daily duties.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by supervisors in support of departmental objectives.
