Job description
What will you do:

We are seeking a skilled BMS Engineer with extensive experience in data center infrastructure to manage and maintain the Building Management System (BMS) across Data Centers in UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring maximum operational uptime and efficiency while also supporting environmental control systems safety and compliance within the data center.

  • Monitor and manage BMS systems across various data center locations to achieve optimal performance and environmental control.
  • Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of BMS controlled equipment such as HVAC CRAC units, chillers, UPS and generators.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for the installation, upgrades, calibration and repair of BMS components.
  • Review system alarms and provide immediate response to system faults or deviations.
  • Maintain and update BMS software graphics and configurations as required.
  • Analyze system data and trends to suggest energy‑saving initiatives and enhance performance.
  • Assist in commissioning activities for new systems and infrastructure expansion.
  • Ensure BMS operations align with safety regulations, company policies and industry standards.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation including PPM reports, SOPs, logs and performance reports.
What we look for:
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Automation Engineering (or equivalent technical discipline).
  • 5‑10 years of experience working with BMS in data center or critical facility environments.
  • In‑depth knowledge of BMS platforms (Johnson Controls and Niagara platforms).
  • Familiarity with data center systems including HVAC, power distribution, fire suppression and access control.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Experience with Modbus, BACnet and LonWorks protocols.
  • Ability to work in 24x7 mission‑critical environments, including on‑call support when necessary.
