Job description

• Own and lead the SEO strategy for Sotheby’s across UAE, KSA, and wider MENA markets.
• Drive organic growth, qualified leads, and brand visibility through SEO strategies aligned with luxury real estate audiences.
• Work cross-functionally with content, web, paid media, CRM, and analytics teams to ensure SEO is embedded across all digital touchpoints.
• Ensure SEO execution meets global brand standards while adapting to local search behavior and language nuances.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute a comprehensive SEO roadmap covering on-page, technical, content, and off-page SEO.
• Lead keyword research with strong intent mapping (buy, invest, rent, branded, community-based searches).
• Optimize site architecture, internal linking, URL structures, and metadata for high-value real estate pages.
• Ensure content localization (not translation-only) aligns with regional search behavior and cultural context.

Technical SEO

• Conduct regular technical SEO audits using Screaming Frog, GSC, and GA4.
• Manage SEO requirements including:
• Canonicalization & hreflang (Arabic / English)
• Redirects, crawlability, indexing, and page speed
• Mobile-first optimization
• Coordinate SEO implementations with web development teams (React / CMS environments).

Content & On-Page Optimization

• Collaborate with content writers to:
• Optimize property pages, project pages, community pages, and blogs
• Ensure correct keyword placement, headings, schema, and UX
• Guide content teams on SEO-driven content planning for new launches, branded residences, and investment-focused pages.
• Optimize listings and landing pages to support lead generation funnels.

Off-Page SEO & Authority Building

• Perform backlink audits and manage white-hat link-building strategies.
• Identify media, real estate portals, publishers, and partnerships to build authority.
• Monitor and protect brand reputation and backlink quality.

Analytics, Reporting & Performance

• Track SEO performance across:
• Organic traffic
• Lead quality impact
• Produce monthly SEO performance reports with insights, trends, and recommendations.
• Work closely with paid media and CRM teams to connect SEO traffic with lead quality and sales outcomes.
• Ensure SEO strategies align with:
• Paid search & Meta campaigns
• Property portals and listing visibility
• Support campaign launches by ensuring SEO readiness for:
• High-value property listings

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of SEO experience, with strong hands-on SEO expertise.
• Proven experience in real estate, luxury, or high-value lead generation industries (strong advantage).
• Experience with UAE & KSA property ecosystems (Property Finder, Bayut, Dubizzle, Rightmove exposure is a plus).
• Strong understanding of Google algorithm updates, SERP behavior, and multilingual SEO.
• Comfortable working in enterprise-level websites with multiple regions and stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills in Arabic and English.
