Job summary

EDGE in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Chief Technician, Weapon Integration to lead the integration, assembly, and testing of precision-guided weapons and missile systems. This role acts as the technical bridge between engineering design and production teams within a defense environment.

You will manage ICDs, harness development, and data packs, develop tooling and assembly procedures, and mentor technicians while ensuring adherence to engineering processes.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechatronics, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 6–10 years of experience in guided weapons, missile systems, or defense integration programs.
• Strong knowledge of systems engineering, baseline management, and engineering documentation.
• Experience with manufacturing, testing, integration, and acceptance of complex electro‑mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform integration, assembly, acceptance testing, and evaluation of guided weapons and missile systems.
• Manage Interface Control Documents (ICDs), harness development, and integration data packs.
• Develop and maintain tools, jigs, fixtures, assembly instructions, and testing procedures.
• Train and mentor technicians while ensuring compliance with engineering processes and workflows.
