Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is seeking a VP, Head of Operational Risk Advisory & Oversight for Group Technology & Transformation in Abu Dhabi. This second-line role leads ORA coverage for the GT&T portfolio, challenging technology, data and AI risks while ensuring governance, resilience and regulatory alignment across the function.

The role requires guiding risk assessments, issue remediation, and portfolio-level reporting to senior executives and governance bodies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• 12–15+ years' experience in financial services, technology risk or operational risk.
• Proven ability to engage senior technology stakeholders and regulators.
• Experience with technology change, digital transformation and data analytics risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead second-line Operational Risk Advisory & Oversight for GT&T portfolio.
• Provide independent challenge and governance across technology services, data analytics and AI risk.
• Escalate material issues to SVP and ensure alignment with risk framework.
• Support portfolio reporting, governance materials and risk insight papers.
• Partner with risk, compliance and Internal Audit on regulatory responses and supervisory reviews.
