Job summary

Ericsson in Dubai seeks an experienced Vmware & Nutanix SME to support enterprise infrastructure across VMware, Nutanix, Azure and Windows Server platforms. You will oversee day-to-day operations, administration and lifecycle management while driving automation to improve reliability and efficiency.

The role requires strong hands-on expertise with ESXi/vCenter, Nutanix Prism, AHV, and Azure services, along with ITIL-aligned incident/problem/change management.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of IT infrastructure operations experience.
• Minimum 6 years hands-on VMware administration.
• Minimum 3 years Nutanix and 3 years Microsoft Azure administration.
• Experience in VMware ESXi, vCenter, HA/DRS, VM provisioning, patching, performance, capacity and security.
• Experience in Nutanix Prism Central/Element, AHV, LCM, capacity monitoring, and data protection.
• Experience in Azure: VMs, VNets, storage, monitoring, backup, IAM, security and governance.
• Windows Server: DNS, DHCP, file services, patching, security, performance, PowerShell.
• Automation with PowerShell, Ansible or Terraform is a plus.
• ITIL Foundation, VMware VCP, Nutanix NCP or Microsoft AZ-104 is a plus.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and ability to work in high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor and support VMware environments (ESXi, vCenter, clusters, storage, VMs).
• Manage Nutanix Prism Central/AHV infrastructure, health, capacity and lifecycle.
• Administer Azure cloud services: VMs, networking, storage, monitoring, backup and security.
• Perform Windows Server installation, configuration, patching, upgrades and tuning.
• Lifecycle management including patching, upgrades, remediation and tech refresh.
• Monitor health and address performance, availability and capacity issues.
• Support incidents, problems, changes and service requests per ITIL.
• Root cause analysis and preventive measures.
• Support disaster recovery, backup, restoration and business continuity.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Maintain documentation and knowledge articles; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
