Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee daily construction, fit-out and finishing activities across multiple villas. You will coordinate masonry, plastering, tiling, marble, painting, gypsum, ceilings, joinery, doors and sanitary fittings, while managing manpower and subcontractors to meet daily targets and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising villa construction and finishing works.
• Ability to coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors.
• Strong attention to QA/QC and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction, fit-out and finishing activities across assigned villas.
• Manage and coordinate activities including masonry, plastering, tiling, marble, painting, gypsum, ceilings, joinery, doors, sanitary fittings and other architectural finishing works.
• Allocate and control daily manpower based on priorities provided by the Site Engineer/Site Manager.
• Coordinate multiple subcontractors, tradesmen and labour teams working simultaneously across different villas.
• Ensure subcontractors understand daily targets, work sequences and completion deadlines.
• Monitor workmanship, productivity and progress throughout the day.
• Conduct regular site checks to ensure works are completed according to approved drawings, specifications and required finishing standards.
• Identify defective or incomplete works and arrange immediate rectification.
• Support snagging and de-snagging activities and ensure assigned snags are closed within agreed timelines.
• Maintain proper sequencing of trades to avoid clashes, rework and delays.
• Monitor availability of materials, tools and equipment and inform the Site Engineer in advance of shortages.
• Coordinate material movement and ensure materials are properly stored and used.
• Maintain daily manpower, subcontractor and progress records.
• Report delays, quality concerns, manpower shortages, material shortages and site constraints immediately to the Site Engineer/Site Manager.
• Coordinate with QA/QC personnel for inspections and rectification of observations.
• Ensure completed areas are properly protected against damage from subsequent works.
• Enforce site HSE, housekeeping and PPE requirements.
• Support the Site Engineer/Site Manager during consultant/client inspections and project handover.
• Ensure work areas are kept organized and ready for inspection.
