Bybit in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced User Reach & Lifecycle leader with a data-driven mindset to own key initiatives and potentially lead a team. You will drive personalization, intelligent recommendations, and automated reach across channels, partnering with Product, Data, and Algorithm teams to scale growth through lifecycle management.

The role requires deep crypto user behavior understanding, strong leadership, and fluency in English and Chinese, with a base in the UAE.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in crypto exchanges.
• Proven experience in personalization, recommendation systems, intelligent CRM, or algorithm-driven growth.
• Exceptional data sense and analytical thinking with skills in segmentation, funnels, and experimentation.
• Strong understanding of crypto trading behaviors including Spot and Derivatives.
• Hands-on experience building automated engagement or lifecycle frameworks.
• Previous people management experience, including goal setting and team development.
• Ability to drive complex initiatives from 0 to 1 with measurable business outcomes.
• Fluent in English and Chinese; willing to be based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Responsibilities

• Develop lifecycle engagement strategies covering onboarding, activation, retention, churn prevention, and reactivation.
• Segment users using behavioral data and trading activity to deliver targeted engagement.
• Optimize conversion funnels to boost trading activity and long-term value.
• Design personalized engagement and recommendation logic across channels with real-time context.
• Collaborate with Product, Data, and Algorithm teams on profiling, recommendations, and decision rules.
• Establish recommendation prioritization, content matching, and performance evaluation.
• Create market-triggered engagement strategies based on price moves, assets, and watchlists.
• Build real-time or near-real-time engagement triggers and optimize message relevance and frequency.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives with Product, Data, Algorithm, Engineering, and Biz teams.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced User Reach & Lifecycle professional with a strong background in the crypto industry, exceptional data-driven thinking, and proven leadership capabilities.

This is a leadership pipeline position. The successful candidate will initially take ownership of key business initiatives, with the opportunity to progressively assume team leadership responsibilities based on performance and demonstrated capabilities.

The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of crypto user behavior, trading products, and market dynamics, with the ability to drive the evolution of user engagement toward data-driven personalization, intelligent recommendations, and automated reach.

Key Responsibilities

1.User Lifecycle Management

• Develop systematic lifecycle engagement strategies covering registration, KYC, first deposit/trade, activation, retention, churn prevention, and reactivation.
• Segment users based on behavioral data, trading activity, asset holdings, and product preferences to deliver targeted engagement strategies.
• Optimize lifecycle conversion funnels to improve trading activity, retention, reactivation, and long-term user value.
• Design personalized engagement strategies and recommendation logic based on user behavior, interests, lifecycle stages, and real-time context.
• Collaborate with Product, Data, and Algorithm teams to develop and implement user profiling, recommendation rules, and intelligent decision-making capabilities.
• Establish recommendation prioritization, user-content matching, and performance evaluation mechanisms to improve relevance and conversion.
• Develop systematic market-triggered engagement strategies based on price movements, market trends, asset holdings, watchlists, and trading preferences.
• Build real-time or near-real-time engagement triggers and optimize message relevance, timing, and frequency.
• Improve the alignment between market insights and user interests to drive trading engagement and conversion.

4.Automated Reach & Engagement

• Develop intelligent and automated engagement strategies across Push, Email, Inbox, In-App, Banner, Popup, and other owned channels.
• Design automated engagement scenarios and trigger logic based on user lifecycle stages, behavioral signals, and market events.
• Establish cross-channel prioritization, frequency capping, suppression rules, and channel orchestration to improve efficiency and user experience.
• Drive the implementation and scaling of automated engagement capabilities while reducing manual operations.

6.Data Analytics & Business Growth

• Establish key performance metrics for user engagement and lifecycle management, leveraging funnel analysis, user segmentation, cohort analysis, and A/B testing.
• Evaluate engagement effectiveness and incremental business impact to continuously optimize strategies.
• Drive measurable improvements in user activation, trading conversion, retention, and reactivation.
• Lead complex cross-functional initiatives involving Product, Data, Algorithm, Engineering, and business teams, ensuring successful execution and measurable outcomes.
• Develop clear project roadmaps, priorities, and milestones while proactively resolving execution challenges.
• Demonstrate strong people management and talent development capabilities, with the potential to take on broader team leadership responsibilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in crypto exchanges, with a deep understanding of exchange products, business models, and user lifecycles.
• Proven experience in personalization, recommendation systems, intelligent CRM, or algorithm-driven growth projects, with the ability to design and implement effective engagement strategies.
• Exceptional data sense and analytical thinking, with strong capabilities in user behavior analysis, segmentation, conversion funnels, and experimentation.
• Strong understanding of crypto trading behaviors, asset preferences, market sensitivity, and core trading products, including Spot and Derivatives.
• Hands-on experience building automated engagement or lifecycle management frameworks, with a track record of scaling operational strategies.
• Previous people management experience, including goal setting, team development, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong project ownership and execution capabilities, with a proven track record of driving complex initiatives from 0 to 1 and delivering measurable business results.
• Highly ambitious, resilient, results-oriented, and accountable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Fluent in both English and Chinese as working languages, and willing to be based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
