We are seeking an experienced Senior Unreal Engine Game Developer to work on the development of a next-generation ultra-realistic experience building high-fidelity, photorealistic games using real-world character assets, advanced animation systems, and real-time rendering technologies.
This role requires deep expertise in creating immersive gameplay experiences with cinematic-quality visuals, realistic physics, facial animation, motion capture integration, AI-driven voice systems, and scalable multiplayer or streaming technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain core gameplay systems using Unreal Engine 5, C++, and Blueprints.
- Integrate real human character models, MetaHumans, or scanned 3D characters into gameplay.
- Implement realistic body movement, facial expressions, lip sync, and lifelike gameplay motion capture animations.
- Integrate AI voice technologies for real-time character dialogue, including text-to-speech, voice cloning/synthesis, speech recognition, and audio-driven lip sync.
- Design and integrate a scalable, low-latency live streaming solution that broadcasts real-time gameplay to end users (e.g., Pixel Streaming, WebRTC, or similar).
- Optimize video encoding, streaming performance, and synchronization for smooth viewing experiences.
- Optimize rendering performance while maintaining AAA visual quality.
- Create advanced AI behaviors and realistic character interactions.
- Integrate physics, collision, ragdoll systems, and environmental interactions.
- Collaborate with artists, animators, designers, and backend engineers throughout the development lifecycle.
- Profile, debug, and optimize CPU, GPU, and memory performance across target platforms.
Requirements
- Professional Unreal Engine 5 and C++ development experience.
- Experience developing AAA-quality or highly realistic games.
- Experience integrating cloud-based game streaming or live video streaming technologies.
- Familiarity with WebRTC, RTMP, SRT, or low-latency streaming protocols.
- Knowledge of backend services, APIs, and scalable server architecture.
- Deep understanding of rendering pipelines, shaders, and performance optimization.
- Experience with MetaHuman, motion capture, facial capture, and animation retargeting.
- Experience integrating AI voice / text-to-speech systems and real-time conversational audio pipelines (e.g., ElevenLabs, Azure Speech, or similar).
- Experience integrating realistic physics and character interaction systems.
- Familiarity with multiplayer architecture and networking.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or Perforce.
- Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
- Portfolio demonstrating AAA-quality or photorealistic Unreal Engine projects.
