Job summary

WSP Global Inc. in the UAE is seeking an experienced Authorities Liaison Engineer to lead submissions, permits and NOC coordination with government authorities throughout design and construction.

You will act as the main interface between project teams, contractors, consultants and authorities ensuring compliance and timely approvals. Fluency in English required; Arabic would be advantageous; minimum 10 years in authority processes in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in authority submissions and approvals in UAE.
• Proven experience with DM, DDA, Trakhees, DCD, DEWA and RTA processes.
• Fluent English; Arabic would be advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management across contractors, consultants, and authorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate authority submissions and approvals during design and construction.
• Liaise with Dubai Municipality, DDA, Trakhees, DCD, DEWA and RTA.
• Provide guidance on submission procedures and documentation.
• Track and follow up on permits, NOCs and inspection results.
• Identify risks and advise leadership on potential delays.
• Maintain records and status trackers for authority activities.
