Job summary

The Boring Company seeks an experienced engineering leader to drive tunnel design and project input. You will coordinate with internal and external teams, liaise with clients, and own engineering inputs from concept to delivery, including monitoring construction schedules.

Candidates should have 10+ years in tunnel design/project management and strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with readiness for travel and extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Experience working with government and local agencies.
• 10+ years of experience in the design and/or project management of tunnels.

Responsibilities

• Leading resource planning and coordination.
• Developing engineering concepts, and articulation to the team.
• Working as part of a multi-discipline team to deliver project input.
• Project management and ownership of the engineering input into the project.
• Ability to coordinate with different teams, both within The Boring Company and externally.
• Liaising with the client, attending progress meetings and producing reports on progress.
• Providing expert engineering input into design; and evaluation of built environment proposals.
• Monitor construction schedules.
