Job summary

Al-Futtaim is seeking a Senior Manager - Treasury Controlling in Dubai, United Arab Emirates to support the Global Treasury Centre with treasury governance, transformation, financial control, reporting, AI strategy, and risk management.

Working closely with the Head of Controlling, the role will develop governance frameworks, oversee strategic treasury initiatives, strengthen controls, and provide actionable financial insights within a large and complex organization.

Qualifications

• CA, CFA, CPA, or equivalent professional certification is required.
• ACT or similar treasury coursework is beneficial.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within a large organization managing treasury operations and controls.
• Advanced knowledge of treasury processes, banking, hedging, and trade finance.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP TRM.
• Proficiency with Power BI and related analytical reporting tools.
• Ability to combine detailed financial analysis with treasury governance and strategic transformation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of treasury governance frameworks.
• Maintain treasury policies, SOPs, SLAs, DOAs, RACI matrices, and operating models.
• Support communication and adoption of governance across Global Treasury, GBS, and business lines.
• Monitor compliance with treasury policies and controls.
• Manage governance reviews and ensure timely closure of actions.
• Drive treasury transformation including standardization, automation, and efficiency.
• Govern strategic projects such as Cash Pooling, In-House Bank, Trade Finance digitization, and treasury technology.
• Monitor project delivery against timelines and budgets.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual activity and risks.
• Support development of efficient and scalable treasury processes.
• Lead governance for Treasury AI development and deployment.
• Establish controls for AI-enabled treasury solutions and ensure stage-gate compliance.
• Support adoption of AI-enabled reporting, analytics and decision-support.
• Partner with EIT and AI office to implement Treasury AI strategy.
• Track compliance with AI governance framework and deployment of approved uses.
