Job summary

McDermott is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst in Dubai to enhance treasury discipline. The role supports banking relations, bank guarantees, cash flow, and SOX controls within the treasury function across projects and corporate teams.

The candidate should have a Chartered Accountant qualification with 3–6 years post-qualification experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification
• Around 3-6 years of relevant post qualification experience
• Good understanding of banking functions
• Good communication skills
• Detailed experience in own discipline
• Ability to multi-task and manage tight reporting schedule
• May undertake projects and shares expertise
• Ability to work independently with minimum amount of supervision
• Ability to work with stakeholders of all levels as needed

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between commercial/bids team and corporate treasury for the following: review and approval of bank guarantee text format for bid submission; arrange for bank support letters; coordinate with Bid and Project Team; liaise with corporate treasury/bank for Bank Guarantee issuance.
• Reach out to prospect relationship banks for identifying opportunities for new credit lines
• Ensure regular updates and information is shared with existing banks for annual renewal of facility
• Maintain healthy banking relations and resolve issues regarding receipts, payments and Bank Guarantees
• Prepare list of outstanding Bank Guarantee details with project, entity and facility used monthly
• Prepare Bank Guarantee forecast quarterly in consultation with project teams and ensure timely reviews
• Review and sign petty cash reimbursement claims in line with policies
• Review and sign treasury receipt journals monthly per SOX control requirement
• Ensure SOX compliances relating to treasury activities are followed per policy
• Ensure effective cash flow management by funding the account periodically
• Handle any ad hoc requirements for Treasury function
• Hands-on experience in treasury products and systems
