Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Transport/Traffic/Civil Engineering, Urban/Transport Planning, or Applied Statistics

Responsibilities

• Strategy: Support the implementation and articulation of the comprehensive system for regulating and managing transport demand in the Emirate of Dubai in line with approved RTA policies.
• Strategy: Assist in applying transport-demand procedures that promote balance and integration in the transport system, including temporal and spatial trip redistribution.
• Operations: Develop, update, and operate the databases and tools needed to evaluate transport-demand policies and procedures, ensuring they reflect current networks, demand patterns, and approved assumptions.
• Operations: Serve as the custodian of all model assumptions, datasets, and update cycles, ensuring their accuracy, integrity, and timely maintenance.
• Operations: Conduct strategic and detailed technical studies and modelling exercises to assess the effectiveness of transport-demand policies and to raise the efficiency of the roads and transport system in Dubai.
• Operations: Follow up on the implementation of transport-demand policies, procedures and programs approved by management and consolidate implementation status from concerned departments.
• Product/Process Improvement: Improve and standardize study templates, evaluation methodologies and databases related to transport-demand, tariff and exemption policies to keep them aligned with approved practices.
