Job summary

Grant Thornton UAE is seeking a Senior Consultant/Assistant Manager for our Direct Tax Service Line in Abu Dhabi. You will shape transfer pricing strategies, guide clients through documentation, benchmarking, and cross-border structuring, while delivering practical tax outcomes.

You will work with a diverse client portfolio, lead engagements, coach junior staff, and stay current with OECD guidelines and UAE regulations. English fluency is essential; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Master's degree or professional qualification (CA, CPA, CFA, ACCA) is a plus.
• 4+ years of related work experience in Transfer Pricing.
• Strong understanding of international tax principles and Transfer Pricing regulations, including the OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients in developing Transfer Pricing policies and strategies tailored to their needs.
• Supporting in the preparation of Transfer Pricing documentation: Master File, Local File and CbCR and annual disclosure forms in line with UAE Transfer Pricing regulation
• Assisting with transfer pricing functional and economic analysis, including comparability and benchmarking studies
• Assisting on projects relating to supply chain and restructuring projects, including helping in designing and implementing tax effective operative models for businesses, supporting clients in Advanced Pricing Agreements procedures
• Supporting team to maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensuring satisfaction, making sure deadlines are met, and leading change efforts effectively
• Contributing to proposal development and internal knowledge initiative, staying up-to-date with transfer pricing regulations and developments
• Coaching junior team members
