Job summary

Bybit is seeking a Senior Trading Risk Analyst to develop and refine risk and surveillance strategies for abusive trading across spot, futures, options, and other products. You will investigate suspicious activity using order-flow signals and account-linkage indicators, shaping detection patterns and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Practical experience with derivatives trading or risk management.
• Strong knowledge of futures, perpetual swaps, and options.
• Understanding of leverage, margins, liquidation, insurance-fund structures, and auto-deleveraging.
• Advanced SQL skills; Python experience is desirable.
• Ability to design detection approaches using order-level data.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve risk and surveillance strategies for abusive trading activity across spot and derivatives.
• Investigate suspicious trading using order-flow signals, self-trading and crossing behaviours, and account-linkage indicators.
• Define behavioural patterns for new manipulation methods in thinly traded assets and leveraged instruments.
• Assess risk impact to inform prioritisation and leadership reporting
• Collaborate with Product, Compliance, and data teams to design and test monitoring rules and risk controls.
• Work with data scientists to translate trading-risk concepts into detection logic and workflows.
