Job summary

STRABAG in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Senior Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to lead tender cost planning for building and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi.

You will review drawings, prepare BOQs, quantify costs, evaluate subcontract packages, and coordinate with technical, planning, and procurement teams to submit competitive tenders. This role requires GCC/UAE project experience and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying required.
• 5–10 years of estimating or tender quantity surveying experience in main contracting.
• GCC/UAE experience on building, infrastructure and complex projects.
• Proficient in CostX, AutoCAD, Navisworks and Revit.
• Advanced MS Excel skills for cost analysis and estimation.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents and pricing requirements.
• Prepare quantities, BOQs, and detailed cost estimates.
• Issue and evaluate subcontract enquiry packages and quotations.
• Coordinate with Technical, Planning, Procurement, and Construction teams to develop tender submissions.
• Attend tender clarifications and ensure client requirements compliance.
