Job summary

Duncan & Ross Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Telecom Engineer to lead the design, engineering, and execution support of telecom systems for large-scale industrial, infrastructure, energy, and utility projects. You will manage telecom activities and coordinate interfaces across disciplines to ensure compliant, high-quality solutions.

You will drive FEED and Detailed Design phases, review vendor submissions, support procurement, and mentor junior engineers while delivering on schedule

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10+ years in telecom engineering for industrial/infrastructure projects.
• Minimum 3–5 years in a Senior Telecom Engineer role.
• Experience in FEED and Detailed Design (DD) project execution.
• Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, ITU, TIA/EIA, NFPA standards and related codes.
• Proficiency with telecom design tools including AutoCAD, Visio.

Responsibilities

• Lead telecom design and engineering activities for large-scale projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces and ensure standards compliance.
• Review contractor and vendor documents, datasheets, and calculations.
• Support procurement, including technical bid evaluations and FATs.
• Provide installation, testing, commissioning, and startup support.
• Mentor telecom engineers and oversee project schedules and budgets.
• Lead design reviews and safety analyses (HAZID/HAZOP).
