Job summary

Penspen is hiring an experienced Senior Engineer, Construction (Telecom) Site based in Abu Dhabi with extensive oil & gas experience to oversee telecommunications works for oil and gas projects, ensuring safe, timely, and quality execution in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.

You will supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of telecom systems, review drawings and specifications, coordinate contractors and engineering teams, monitor progress, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering related to telecommunications is mandatory.
• 15+ years of oil & gas sector experience.
• 5+ years in GCC region.
• 5+ years in a similar position.
• Extensive experience in Oil & Gas pipeline.
• Strong knowledge of fiber-optic networks, CCTV, access control, PAGA, radio, telephone, and data systems.
• Experience in EPC/EPCM project environments.
• In-depth understanding of HSE requirements and industry codes/standards.
• Proven leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of telecom systems.
• Review drawings, specifications, method statements, and construction work packages.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, engineering teams, and other disciplines.
• Monitor construction progress, quality, safety, and schedule compliance.
• Manage inspections, system integration, completion, and handover activities.
• Resolve technical and site-related issues.
