Job summary

Penspen is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer, Construction (Telecom) for an Abu Dhabi site. The role oversees telecom works for oil and gas projects, ensuring safe, timely, and quality execution in line with project specs and industry standards.

The candidate should have 15+ years in oil & gas, 5 years in GCC, and strong leadership to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, manage inspections, and drive successful handovers with adherence to HSE and codes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Telecom/Electrical/Electronics) is mandatory.
15+ years of relevant experience in oil & gas sector.
5+ years in GCC region and 5+ years in similar position.
Extensive experience in Oil & Gas pipeline and telecom systems.
Strong understanding of HSE requirements and industry codes.

Responsibilities

Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of telecom systems.
Review drawings, specs, method statements, and construction packages.
Coordinate contractors, vendors, and engineering teams.
Monitor progress, quality, safety, and schedule compliance.
Manage inspections, system integration, handover activities, and issue resolution.
