Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Tunnel Engineer - TBM Survey Engineering in Dubai, UAE, focused on precision surveying, TBM alignment control, and underground construction monitoring. The role requires 8+ years in TBM tunnel projects and strong familiarity with 3D surveying and TAC/TBM guidance systems.

You will support the Resident Engineer - Tunnels, review alignment calculations, maintain control networks, and ensure compliance with design tolerances and RTA procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Geomatics from an accredited university.
• Minimum eight years on TBM tunnel construction or tunneling surveys in major projects.
• Strong knowledge of TBM operations, alignment control, and survey software.

Responsibilities

• Support Resident Engineer - Tunnels by supervising and reviewing TBM survey work.
• Prepare daily/weekly survey reports on alignment performance and deviations.
• Analyze alignment trends and contribute to risk registers and NCRs.
• Monitor TBM operations and verify alignment against approved geometry.
• Review surface monitoring, settlement, and heave measurements.
• Verify transfer of surface points through shafts and underground access.
