Job summary

Talent Bridge HR Consultancy Dubai seeks an experienced Tailor to join a prestigious Technical Training Center in Dubai. You will deliver hands-on tailoring instruction, demonstrate sewing techniques, and guide students through garment construction to build real-world skills.

The ideal candidate has at least five years as a professional tailor, plus teaching or mentoring experience; strong English communication and ability to foster a positive learning environment in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a professional tailor in a reputable establishment.
• Experience in teaching or mentoring in a technical skill setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabric selection, pattern making, sewing, and finishing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging tailoring workshops for students of varying skill levels.
• Demonstrate tailoring techniques: fabric selection, cutting, fitting, finishing.
• Provide personalized instruction and feedback to help students improve.
• Maintain a safe and organized tailoring workshop environment.
• Assist with curriculum development and upkeep of tailoring courses.
• Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to learning objectives.
• Stay updated on latest tailoring trends and incorporate into curriculum.
• Maintain records of student progress and attendance.
