Job summary

VAMS is hiring a Senior Systems Analyst for its UAE Operations in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of experience, specifically strong knowledge of the Murex System, Treasury products, and end-to-end change management processes. They will be responsible for managing workflows, providing first level support for technical issues, and preparing essential project documentation. Candidates should also be familiar with regulatory requirements such as EMIR and FATCA, and possess Oracle PL/SQL or JAVA programming skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle end-to-end change management processes.
• Experience in providing first level support for technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage workflows and back office functionalities within the Murex System.
• Prepare project support documents including technical specifications and progress reports.
• Interact with internal IT teams to resolve end-user issues.

Job description

Senior Systems Analyst – UAE Operations

• Sound knowledge of Murex System (Front office product configurations, managing workflows, back office functionalities, limits & collaterals, accounting & PnL, VaR, EOD functions etc).
• Knowledge of Reuters & Bloomberg systems and Treasury portals, knowledge of the Treasury products & processes.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements (Ex: EMIR, FATCA).
• Knowledge of Risk (Credit and Compliance).
• Can handle software environments, end‑to‑end change management process, and facilitate SIT and UAT for ongoing support/enhancements/projects.
• Prepare project support documents such as data mapping & technical specifications, system architecture, transition plan, project progress status report, Defect Tracker (issue log) etc.
• Provide first level support for issues raised by end users, post‑live support, and interact with internal IT teams/vendors to resolve issues and provide data/logs as required.
• Knowledge & experience in Oracle PL/SQL / JAVA programming language.

Experience required: 6‑10 Years.
