Job summary

CareerLink HR LLC's client, a leading healthcare provider in Dubai, seeks a Consultant / Specialist Surgical Oncologist to join its multidisciplinary cancer care team in a modern hospital.

You will lead surgical oncology care for benign and malignant tumours, work with medical and radiation oncologists, and participate in audits, CME, and program development while ensuring patient safety and adherence to international guidelines.

Qualifications

• Candidates must meet DHA/DOH/MOH licensing eligibility.
• Recognised specialist qualifications in surgical oncology are required.
• Experience in a multispecialty hospital setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and plan surgical treatment for solid tumours.
• Perform complex oncologic surgeries with organ-preserving approaches.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary tumour boards with oncologists and radiologists.
• Ensure preoperative assessment and postoperative care with complication management.
• Utilise minimally invasive techniques where appropriate.
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, risks, and outcomes.
• Document clinical activity and participate in audits and CME.
