Job summary

AESG is seeking a Senior Site Engineer – Structures in Dubai to lead structural supervision on complex projects. The role requires extensive experience with reinforced concrete, structural steel and temporary works, and close collaboration with architects, MEP and broader engineering teams.

You will mentor junior engineers, review technical drawings and ensure compliance with project specs, safety rules and schedules on site in the UAE.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
10+ years of post-graduate experience in structural site supervision.
5+ years UAE/GCC experience on major building projects.
Experience in consultancy environments.
Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, structural steel and temporary works.

Responsibilities

Conduct independent site inspections of structural works.
Review shop drawings, reinforcement detailing, temporary works designs, method statements and material submittals.
Supervise reinforced concrete works including foundations, pile caps, retaining walls, slabs, columns, beams and suspensions.
Monitor structural steel fabrication, erection, bolt and weld connections.
Maintain detailed daily records of inspections and engineering decisions.
Mentor site inspectors and junior engineers in structural inspection techniques.
Coordinate structural interfaces with architectural, MEP and specialist disciplines.
Attend technical coordination meetings and provide structural guidance.
