Job summary

Nova International General Contracting in the UAE is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with 12+ years of experience to lead the design and coordination of structural systems for branded residences and landmark developments.

You will review calculations, ensure compliance with UAE codes and international standards, mentor junior engineers, coordinate with architectural and MEP teams, and support project delivery from design through execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• 12+ years of structural design/coordination experience in contracting or consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis software (ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, Revit).
• Familiarity with UAE building codes and international standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review structural designs, calculations, and drawings.
• Ensure compliance with local and international codes and standards.
• Coordinate with architectural, MEP, and construction teams to resolve design conflicts.
• Conduct structural analysis and provide technical recommendations.
• Oversee preparation of shop drawings and approve structural details.
• Support project planning and provide technical input during execution.
• Prepare reports and maintain documentation for design approvals.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure adherence to quality standards.
