Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on construction supervision.
• Advanced knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices.
• Strong understanding of international and local building codes and standards.
• Excellent project management skills, including multitasking across multiple projects.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex structural projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the construction of structural elements on various projects.
• Review and approve structural shop drawings, material submittals, and construction methodologies.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress and quality.
• Identify and resolve structural engineering issues that arise during construction.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines.
• Prepare and review technical reports, including structural calculations and analysis.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures for structural engineering activities.
• Stay updated on industry trends, innovative construction techniques, and local building regulations.
