Job summary

AtkinsRalis seeks a highly skilled Structural Engineer (Civil/Structure) for Dubai, UAE. The role focuses on overseeing structural aspects of iconic highrise buildings, requiring extensive UAE experience and strong knowledge of local codes.

You will collaborate with design and construction teams, perform site inspections, reviews, and technical liaison with authorities. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in civil/structural engineering (Masters preferred) and PE license is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering from a reputable institution (Masters preferred).
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent preferred.
10–15 years of UAE experience in structural engineering with highrise/tower focus.
In-depth knowledge of UAE building codes and construction practices.
Site supervision experience is required.
Strong proficiency in ETABS and SAP2000 or similar.

Responsibilities

Provide expert guidance on all structural engineering aspects for highrise projects.
Review drawings, specifications and calculations with design and construction teams.
Conduct site inspections to assess structural integrity and mitigation of risks.
Monitor on-site progress ensuring design compliance and quality.
Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to resolve structural issues.
Review method statements, shop drawings and material submittals.
