Job summary

Sobha Group is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Dubai to lead design efforts for high-rise and mixed-use developments. You will apply advanced structural analysis, code-compliant design, and collaborative workflows with international consultants and local authorities.

The role requires a Master’s in Structural Engineering with 10–12 years of quality design experience, including at least 5 years in a senior capacity. Excellent analytical and teamwork abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering.
• 10 to 12 years of quality design experience with at least 5 years in a senior role.
• Knowledge of local authority submission and approval workflows.
• Preferred: Experience in high-rise and mixed-use residential projects. Experience with international consultants is a plus.
• Preferred: Knowledge of sustainable design practices and processes.
• Preferred: Expertise in advanced structural design techniques and materials.

SKILLS

• Shall possess strong analytical base and structural analysis & design knowledge.
• Advanced proficiency in ETABS SAFE.
• Knowledge of STAAD and other structural software will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for design calculations
• Shall be positive and work towards getting to high level of competency in the engineering field and possess a natural insight for the structural behavior of buildings.
• Conversant with relevant code of practices generally being used in the structural engineering industry like American British Standards etc.
• Rely on extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals performing variety of tasks simultaneously.
• Be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude to solve problems and work well with inter-office disciplines.
