Job summary
Power International Holding is seeking a Senior Steel Mechanical Technician to perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on mechanical systems in our steel production facility. You will work with operations and engineering to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, at least 1 year of GCC experience, and SAP/CMS/CMMS literacy. Strong hydraulic/pneumatic knowledge and a commitment to safety are essential.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 1 year GCC experience.
- Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance.
- SAP functional skills are required.
- Knowledge of hydraulics and safety practices.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and emergency maintenance on rolling mills, conveyors, furnaces, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Identify faults, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
- Follow maintenance schedules to prevent breakdowns and improve efficiency.
- Inspect, service, and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in steel production.
- Adhere to safety standards including LOTO, PPE, and risk assessments.
- Maintain CMMS records and manage spare parts inventory.
