Job summary

ENTERTAINER is seeking aSenior SQA Automation Engineer to lead QA across web, mobile and API platforms. You will drive test strategy, design, and execution in an Agile environment, while mentoring junior teammates and implementing automated frameworks with Selenium, Appium and REST Assured.

The role emphasizes collaboration with developers, product managers and DevOps, along with a focus on regression, performance, usability and overall quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software QA, including manual and automation testing.
• Proven experience testing web, mobile, and APIs.
• Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG/JUnit and REST API testing tools.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, CI/CD integration, and version control (Git).
• Experience with .NET and/or Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior SQA Engineer who will lead the quality assurance efforts across web mobile and API platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing be detail-oriented and have experience working in agile teams. Familiarity and Python is a strong plus.

As a Senior SQA Automation Engineer you will

• Define test strategies test plans and test cases for large-scale applications (web mobile API)


• Lead and mentor junior QA team members and ensure best practices are followed


• Execute and automate test cases logging defects and following up until resolution


• Design and implement automated test frameworks (Selenium Appium REST Assured Postman etc.)


• Collaborate closely with developers product managers and DevOps teams in agile environments


• Perform regression performance usability and exploratory testing


• Ensure continuous improvement in testing methodology and quality standards


• Analyze test results and provide detailed reporting to stakeholders


• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines

What were looking for

• Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or a related field


• Minimum 5 years of experience in software QA (including both manual and automation testing)


• Proven experience in testing web mobile and APIs


• Proficient in automation tools such as Selenium Appium TestNG JUnit Postman REST Assured


• Strong experience with testing RESTful APIs


• Familiarity with version control and CI tools (Git Jenkins Azure DevOps)


• Good knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing


• Experience with .NET and/or Python is a strong plus


• Excellent communication analytical and problem-solving skills
