Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of UI/UX design and development experience.
• Proficiency with Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and Photoshop.
• Strong user research, usability testing, and A/B testing skills.
• A strong portfolio showing UI/UX work and design process.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Understanding of SEO principles is a plus.
• UAE Family book is required.

CBUAE is responsible for enhancing monetary management, financial stability and protecting consumers through effective supervision of licensed financial institutions, prudent management of reserves, robust financial infrastructure and the adoption of digital technologies.

We are seeking a Senior Specialist- UX/UI Design to join our Communications department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall design, functionality, and user experience of our website and other platforms, working closely with cross-functional teams including managers, developers, and business owners to ensure our digital products are both user-friendly and visually appealing.

Core Responsibilities

• User Experience Design: Conduct user research, create user personas, and map user journeys to inform design decisions.
• UI Design: Design intuitive and aesthetically pleasing interfaces using tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
• Prototyping and Testing: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and conduct usability testing to iterate on design solutions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with front-end and back-end developers to implement design solutions and ensure technical feasibility.
• Optimization: Continuously optimize the website for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Accessibility: Ensure designs comply with accessibility standards and best practices.
• Brand Consistency: Maintain brand consistency across all web pages and digital platforms.
• Project Management: Manage design projects from conception to completion, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in UI/UX design and development.
• Design Tools: Expertise in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and Photoshop.
• User Research: Strong skills in user research, usability testing, and A/B testing.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design work and demonstrating your design process.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and explain design decisions clearly.
• SEO Knowledge: Understanding of SEO principles and best practices is a plus.
