Senior Specialist, Society Operations, EMEA

At CFA Institute, our Member & Society Relations division works to enable 150+ CFA societies around the world to deliver exceptional value to members and candidates.

As Senior Specialist, Society Operations, EMEA, you’ll be based in Abu Dhabi and provide operational expertise, training, and insights that help societies in the region thrive. You’ll partner closely with society leaders, staff, and colleagues across regions to ensure societies have the tools, processes, and support they need to deliver on our shared mission.

What You’ll Do
  • Deliver on the society service model in EMEA: resolve inquiries and escalations, develop and maintain self-service content, and provide training and resources.
  • Support relationship management for 22 EMEA member societies, working in coordination with portfolio leads.
  • Lead regional implementation of society training, delivering live sessions and contributing to on-demand training resources.
  • Manage communications to promote training, technology, marketing, and educational offerings, and create content for platforms such as the Society Leader Hub and knowledge base.
  • Prepare reports and conduct ad-hoc analysis that turns society data into actionable insights.
  • Facilitate cross-society initiatives and operational best-practice sharing.
  • Support Global Relations and Operations colleagues with various special projects and initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a professional association, membership organisation, business administration, or account management.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM / database management (Salesforce ideal), event platforms, and website operations (no coding required).
  • Strong project delivery skills: structured, proactive, and metrics / OKR-driven.
  • Proven ability to collaborate in multicultural, global, matrixed environments.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills; able to train and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English required; Arabic recommended; additional languages a plus.
  • Learning agility, curiosity, and adaptability; AI familiarity is a bonus.

In compliance with wage transparency laws in many of the jurisdictions in which we recruit, we provide the following information regarding compensation for this position: Expected salary range: AED 200,000-240,000 per year. All salary ranges are subject to adjustment based on experience, education, location and other factors relevant to the position. Additional benefits include eligibility for an annual incentive bonus and a comprehensive medical benefits package.
