Job summary

Sanad Asset Management in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Specialist for Procurement & Supply Chain to manage the full procure-to-pay cycle, RFPs, tendering, POs, delivery tracking, and repair vendor contracts. Initially independent, the role will scale as the function grows within Leasing Operations.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years in procurement/supply chain, preferably aviation-related, with a degree in a related field; a master's or CIPS/SCMP is a plus. ERP proficiency is essential.

About the Role

The Senior Specialist – Asset Management is a critical standalone position within Sanad Asset Management's Procurement & Supply Chain Management section. Reporting directly to the Director – Asset Management, this role is responsible for managing the entire procure-to-pay cycle, RFP and tendering processes, purchase order management, delivery tracking, and repair vendor contract management. Operating independently without team support initially, the role lays the groundwork for future team expansion as the function scales, ensuring seamless end-to-end procurement and supply chain execution for the division.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage the full procure-to-pay cycle including requisition, purchase order issuance, invoice verification, and payment reconciliation while ensuring compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
• Lead end-to-end RFP and tender processes across all spend categories, drafting tender documents, evaluating bids, conducting negotiations, and presenting sourcing recommendations.
• Oversee purchase order management and delivery tracking by coordinating directly with vendors and internal stakeholders, expediting deliveries, and maintaining accurate records in the ERP system.
• Negotiate and manage repair vendor contracts and service level agreements, monitor vendor performance against KPIs, and handle contract renewals, amendments, and disputes.
• Manage warehousing, transportation, and export control compliance, including vendor management and policy setup.
• Function as the sole owner of the supply chain function within Asset Management, establishing processes and documentation standards to support future team growth and escalating resourcing risks as necessary.

Who we are looking for

We seek a highly experienced supply chain professional with 7 to 10 years in procurement or supply chain roles, preferably within aviation MRO or aerospace sectors. A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is required, with a master's degree and certifications such as CIPS or SCMP considered an advantage. The ideal candidate demonstrates advanced competencies in strategic sourcing, market analysis, procurement execution, stakeholder engagement, supplier relationship management, contract and SLA governance, and ERP systems proficiency. Proven ability to independently manage a full procurement function without direct support, prioritizing multiple concurrent tasks effectively, is essential.
