JOB PURPOSE
Develop, update, and monitor the asset management system in the Agencies and sectors of the Roads and Transport Authority, including all related policies, strategies, and processes, in accordance with international best practices and international standards
KEY RESULTS ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Review the ISO55001 external annual audit process, ensuring compliance with the requirements of the international standard for asset management, and provide regular progress reports
- Conduct reviews and identify areas needing improvement, and implement strategies to enhance value management definition
- Collaborate with audit teams and stakeholders to address any identified non-conformities or areas for improvement, and develop/evaluate action plans to rectify deficiencies and enhance asset management practices
- Coordinate the internal asset management audit process, ensuring compliance with established internal auditing standards and procedures, including quality standards, and provide regular progress reports
- Perform other responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate
- Develop and update asset management policies, procedures, and guidelines, and conduct necessary awareness workshops
- Identify and follow up on new initiatives and projects related to the authority’s assets and sectors to prepare the calculate asset maturity level
- Identifying and monitoring risks related to assets and ensuring the presence of risk management plans and emergency response plans
- Coordinating the internal audit process for asset management, ensuring compliance with the applicable internal audit standards and procedures, including quality standards
- Reviewing the KPIs related to the asset management system at the RTA level, analyzing their results, identifying areas for improvement, and submitting appropriate recommendations
- Preparing and developing the RTA’s asset strategy in line with the RTA’s strategy and best global and pioneering practices, supervising its implementation and sustainability, and submitting its periodic reports
- Coordinate and monitor value management with relevant departments, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and adherence to the Value Management Standard - BS EN 12973, and provide regular progress reports
- Preparing and developing the circular economy system in the RTA according to global best practices and international standards, supervising its implementation and submitting its periodic reports
Education
# Bachelor degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical or Industrial Engineering from a recognized University, Masters is preferred.
