Job summary

Positive Zero in Dubai is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead solar EPC projects from design through handover, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, client specifications, and budget constraints. You will coordinate clients, consultants, and contractors to deliver safe, on-time results.

The role requires 8–12 years of experience in solar or renewable energy projects, plus familiarity with UAE/GCC authority approvals (DEWA, ADDC, SEWA). A Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Renewable preferred).
• 8–12 years experience in solar or renewable energy projects.
• Experience in UAE / GCC projects and authority approvals (DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Client Management: Single point of contact, manage expectations, progress reviews and issue resolution.
• Contractor Management: Oversee EPC contractors, subcontractors and consultants, monitor performance, quality and safety.
• Scope & Change Control: Manage scope matrix, identify gaps, evaluate variations and ensure formal approvals.
• Budget Control: Monitor project budgets, cash flow, cost deviations and variation claims.
• Technical Oversight: High-level review of PV layouts, SLDs, structural concepts and authority compliance.
• Site Inspections: Conduct inspections of completed works to ensure quality, HSE compliance and adherence to specs.
• Milestone & Payment Certification: Verify progress, inspect milestones and approve invoices.
• Risk & Schedule Management: Identify risks, foresee delays and implement mitigation plans.
• Contract Administration: Review EPC and subcontract agreements, support claims and dispute avoidance.
• Reporting & Communication: Prepare concise project reports and ensure effective stakeholder communication.
