Job summary

Showcify, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable fintech software in Abu Dhabi. You will own backend components, APIs, and integrations, ensure secure SDLC, and collaborate across engineering, security, product, DevOps, and compliance teams.

The role requires 5–7 years of backend experience in fintech or regulated tech, strong English communication, and a proactive mindset.

Job description

The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining secure,scalable, high-performance software solutions that support the company's fintech platforms, digital payment capabilities, real-time transaction services, and future digital currency-related initiatives. Reporting withinthe Engineering Department, the role combines hands‑on backend engineering, API and integration development, secure coding, performance optimization, technical documentation, and engineering best
practices while working closely with architecture, product, DevOps, security, data, QA, compliance, andinfrastructure teams to deliver reliable and regulated digital financial solutions

• Minimum 5 to 7 years of professional experience in software engineering, backend development, platform engineering, or similar technical roles, preferably within fintech, banking, payments, digital financial services, orother regulated technology environments.
• Experience should includedesigning and developing enterprise‑grade applications, building APIs and integrations, working with relational and NoSQL databases, contributingto microservices and distributed systems, supporting secure SDLCpractices, participating in code reviews, improving system performance, resolving production issues, and documenting technical designs.
• Exposure to real‑time transaction platforms, digital wallets, payment systems, ISO 20022, SWIFT, AML/CFT considerations, blockchain/DLT, ordigital currency platforms is preferred.
• The role requires strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, ownership, collaboration, stakeholder communication, mentoring capability, attention to detail, andprofessional fluency in written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage.
