Job summary

Al Etihad Payments in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Associate to lead the SOC, drive operations, governance and continuous improvement across the security landscape.

You’ll oversee SIEM, SOAR, EDR and related technologies, coordinate incident response, threat detection engineering, and ensure compliance with ISO 27001, PCI DSS and UAE regulations while delivering measurable security outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of cybersecurity/security operations experience, with relevant SOC leadership experience.
• Experience with regulatory requirements and security governance (ISO 27001, PCI DSS, UAE).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day SOC operations, governance, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate incident response across multiple teams and drive containment and recovery.
• Develop and improve detection engineering, threat intel use cases, and monitoring coverage.
• Maintain SOC procedures, playbooks, and evidence for audits.
