Job summary

Manpower Group is seeking an experienced Slickline Operator to support offshore and onshore well intervention projects in the United Arab Emirates. You will operate slickline units, perform rig-ups/rig-downs, and run downhole tools while maintaining rigorous safety and documentation standards.

The role requires 4+ years in slickline, 2+ years in a Slickline Operator role, and 3+ years as a Slickline Assistant Operator prior to promotion, with IWCF Level 2 or equivalent and H2S/BOSIET/HUET

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of Slickline experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a Slickline Operator role.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Slickline Assistant Operator prior to promotion.
• IWCF Well Intervention Certification (Level 2 or equivalent) and safety certifications.
• ADNOC PTW awareness and H2S/BOSIET/HUET preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate slickline units and execute downhole operations per procedures.
• Perform rig-up and rig-down and support well intervention operations.
• Run and retrieve downhole tools, valves, plugs, and memory gauges.
• Control winch speed, line tension, and depth; monitor weight indicator responses.
• Conduct jarring operations within safe working load limits.
• Participate in PCE pressure testing and well integrity verification activities.
• Perform pre-job and post-job equipment inspections and maintain operational records.
• Monitor wire condition, perform wire tests, and maintain accurate wire logs.
• Support and mentor Assistant Operators and Trainees on safe work practices.
