Job summary

Showcify in Abu Dhabi seeks a SOC Lead Engineer, SIEM with deep SIEM expertise and a track record in large-scale operations. You will lead technical operations across environments, guide a team of SOC engineers, and drive licensing and architecture decisions.

The role emphasizes pre-sales participation, robust logging standards, and continuous SOC optimization under the guidance of the Architecture Manager. A decade+ in SIEM is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in SIEM and SOC operations, with significant experience in SIEM management and architecture.
• Prior leadership role experience within a SOC or similar cybersecurity environment.
• Certifications include CISSP, CISM, Splunk Certified Architect or similar SIEM certs, and cloud/networking certs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical operations and management of SIEM tools across multiple environments and customers.
• Oversee the maintenance and functionality of the log collection layer, focusing on CRIBL integration.
• Forecast, track SIEM licenses; coordinate with sales for estimations and renewals.
• Mentor SOC engineers in managing SIEM services and log management.
• Participate in pre-sales activities to provide technical expertise and estimation for SIEM licenses and architectures.
• Collaborate with SOC Engineering & Architecture Manager to develop SIEM architecture strategies.
• Assist in continuous process improvements to increase SOC efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide regular reporting on SIEM services, SOC operations, and license management to stakeholders.
